Chris Reis & Co Ltd. are a niche commercial property consultancy providing personal and first-class property advice in the leisure property sector. We specialise in locating property sites for restaurant operation throughout the UK.

About Chris Reis

Chris has been involved at the sharp end of restaurant agency for 20 years having gained his agency experience at the legendary Mayfair agency practice, Churston Heard, in London, where he rose to Director level.

Chris moved north to Scotland in the mid-1990s and has been the lead agent in the UK since 2000 for the Restaurant Group PLC, during which time he acquired in excess of 100 restaurants for brands such as Frankie and Benny’s, Chiquito, and Coast to Coast. This instruction was the largest by volume of units in the casual dining sector in the UK over this period. Here he reported to the acquisition manager and liaised with brand MD’s in assessing site suitability using such metrics as trading performance of adjacent restaurants, future prospects of the town by analysing commercial development pipelines and demographic trends.

This involvement allowed Chris to engage with the UK’s main leisure property landlords during which he built up strong relationships with BL, Land Securities, Nuveen, M & G, Hammerson L & G, etc. In addition, he dealt with many of the regional property companies and developers. Latterly, Byron Burger, in 2018, engaged him to work up an expansion strategy centred on London and the south-east and more recently he has acquired sites for Nandos in England.

Chris is currently engaged in the expansion of the Viva Italia Group of Companies growing their various brands across the country, such as Tony Macaroni, Mozza and Doppio Malto. Chris also works on the client side and is a Board Director of Ting Thai Ltd., a Thai street food concept, currently with 2 units in Edinburgh and a further 2 in the pipeline in Glasgow.
